So, the computer is currently virus-free (thanks Dad!) and we are totally moved into what Richard calls our "cabin in the sky". The other day he put mirrored tiles on the walls so we can see even more of the view; looks pretty groovy.
Perhaps the only blight is the fact that someone on the top floor of the old bank building parallel to our window hung a Frida Kahlo silkscreen in his/her window. That's just great. I love staring at uni-browed Communists while I'm sipping my tea. But on the up side, that building is full of firemen who like to wander around in the buff. Life is good.

SME:Wandering around I decided to take a look at your site, and it seems you have a roving eye voyeur thingy about you, lucky you; enjoy the view.(look before you buy).
The name of our rd is Sunrise Ave, I live in NSW OZ. Our rear balcony gives us a splendid view of the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean and our front the sunset over the blue mountains. I hope your pc is capable of recieving e m p g, I shall send something that may amuse you, bye,

Vest, meet our daughter, SME.
SME, meet my pal, Vest. I'm sure you'll get along very well!

I am in total shock. Wow. I am thankful I never put my foot in, and destroyed my near squeaky clean image. You are so lucky to have such a caring and loving Mother; who describes you as her best friend.
It is nearly Mid Winter here, clear skies, beautiful sunshine, no noticeable wind at all, temp 20cel.
Very quiet at the moment, soon 4 gr/kids and their parents will be arriving. Thanks for the nice surprise.

Mother of pearl, I need to check comments more often! I had no idea all this was going on. Wow. Pleased to meet you, Vest. I do indeed have a wonderful mother.

Vest: I can't tell my boyfriend about you, because if he reads about this view you have, he'll want to move to Australia immediately! He would much prefer the ocean to the firemen.

Mom: Is there anything OTHER misinformation you'd like to give me about insects?!?! Heehee.

We're homeschooling now, so I have to get the facts straight. You've never been stung and you've had a lot of BFHs sit on you, so what are you whining about?

Vest-Have fun with the grandkids!

The gr/ch have left; leaving a wake of destruction behind and memories of statements like dont worry grandma will clean it up and granddad will fix it later. I was tempted on several occasions to discredit my faith in the rod and carrot theory. within ten minutes of their departure I was fast asleep, after two hours in the land of nod my sanity has returned. The telephone call that woke me was, to tell me that they had arrived home safely and to thank us for their enjoyable visit, I rep/lied that we too thoroughly enjoyed their visit and hope to see them again soon.

Congratulations on surviving the grandkids; they sound like fun. :)
