The bunny is alive and well. He was probably just in shock or something; his legs aren't broken. Looks like the neighbors jumped to conclusions. (no pun intended...) The SPCA concluded that the bunny was malnourished and neglected by those people who had "just bought it". The neighbor will be adopting him or her.
Demi's doing fine. Lots of hugs and hot Ovaltine worked magic. By yesterday she was chipper enough to be her usual motormouth self, and she went with Richard on a train ride from one end of the city to the other - a big adventure for both of them, since they'd never done it before.

NOW you don't dare let Demi go to Sarah's house or she'll go kick some serious a** at the neighbor's house!! We didn't DARE tell her where Shadow's former owner lived.
