An infamous 1989 quote from Pat Robertson: "There's never been a woman Grandmaster chess player. Once you get one, then I'll buy some of the feminism." In Robertson's world, THIS lovely lady doesn't exist! She is Judit Polgar, who became the world's youngest chess grandmaster (at age 15) in 1991. (At the time Robertson made the above statement, there were two female grandmasters.) She was so young when she started playing tournaments, she brought her teddy bear with her. Lest you think this is a fluke, Judit's two sisters are also grandmasters.
