Back home from a weekend with the kids. Richard's parenting relationship with his ex-wife is on the mend now after a somewhat protracted divorce (ten years), so we had dinner with the kids at their home (a first for me) and got to see their rooms and whatnot. Aaron spends as much time as possible in his dungeon (basement computer room), but he's also working after school at a pizza joint that we suspect is a drug front. He prefers this to bagging groceries, he says. Other than that he's fine. Demi is the social butterfly and spends a lot of her time scooping up stray animals and younger kids: She escorts a third-grader to and from the bus stop because the little girl said, "My sister beats me."
My theatre program deadline comes at the end of this week and I also have a lot of appointments, so I won't be blogging much until the weekend, I figure.

Wow. And we Americans thought we had a monopoly on the drama. I guess not. :p
Poor third-grader. What do you tell a kid in that situation?
ZS, if Demi sees the sister, she'll kick the snot out of her!
She will. No kidding.
