Bird.

If you've ever seen that movie Pieces of April with Katie Holmes, you know how our Thanksgiving went (we had it early 'cause Richard has to work tomorrow). When we moved, Richard got rid of a big pot that we used for chicken & turkey, so we decided to roast a small chicken in the crockpot this year. Less than an hour later, a fuse blew and destroyed the crockpot. So Richard wrapped the chicken in tinfoil and baked in in the oven - it's an oozy, greasy mess. Ah well. At least the stuffing's okay.

Nooooooooo! I'd be so bummed if my crockpot got destroyed. I use mine for making gravies. The leftover juice becomes the next day's gravy. Wife makes the mashed potatoes. And it's all good.

I'm still mourning the loss. No buffalo stew, no easy soups...
But I can't whine too much, 'cause there's a Bay store two blocks away.
