Richard was fearful of watching the big game tonight 'cause he was 99% sure the Eskimoes were gonna lose. But they're winning, so he's happy.
I went on a bit of a spending spree today: A Million Little Pieces, Oprah's current book (really hard to find, 20% off!); the first season of Twin Peaks (went down in price about $40 since this time last year); and a couple of used books (Ann Rule's book about the Green River Killer, Anthony Summers' Conspiracy: Who Killed President Kennedy?)
I don't normally pay much attention to Oprah's books. A few of them were OK, but most are about po' Southern gals and their abusive fathers/husbands/uncles. A little of this goes a long way. However, everyone who started reading A Million Little Pieces couldn't stop, and that's usually a good sign. Plus I don't think this guy was beaten into a pulp by his Uncle Willoughby in a Virginia cotton field while pregnant with his father's third baby.
Hey, it's winter in Canada. I have to keep myself out of trouble somehow. :)
Tomorrow I'm putting up the rest of the Christmas stuff. I warn you, there will be photos.

Wow.. just read about the Grey cup game on tsn.ca (yeah, we hockey fans know where to go for info). Sounds like it was a very exciting game!
Tell Richard congrats!
He's totally pumped. Did you see the Esks' coach? Talk about hyper. He got all Tom Cruise-y there for a minute.
