This is the first season of American Idol I've watched. And after tonight I am never watching it again. The girl I considered a shoo-in for Idolatry was voted off. Tremendously talented, humble, professional, adorable. What's wrong with you people?! You voted off a diva of tomorrow and left us with all the hillbillies, goons, and future bar band singers!! God, I put up with Paula Abdul's simpering and Simon Cowell's curmudgeonliness for months, just for this?! @#$&*!! I practically needed a Cowell-to-English dictionary just to figure out what the bejeezus he was blathering about! "To be perfectly honest, that sounded like a walrus fornicating with a cheese grater. It was the worst I've ever seen. It was like rubber tires and roast chicken. It was like buttercups and pencil erasers. It was like wearing a purple sweater on a Thursday. It was like..." Etc. I am never, never watching reality TV again so long as I breathe!

Whew. OK. I'm better now.

At least the geek was removed last week, I saw the end part at work and was surprised to see the young singer given the boot, I suspect they use the same science of voting similar to how they vote for presidents in the states, and we all know how that works out!

For Idol, there's actually a website called "Vote for the Worst" where people are encouraged to, well, vote for the worst. Maybe that's what happened with Bush! ;D

Being semi-deaf now, I can only imagine the sound of a walrus fornicating with a cheese grater...not a nice sound...even if you can't hear it. I can proudly say I've never watched the show..ever!

says a lot about American tastes huh? Just look at the top movies at the box office and you'll usually find the intelligent or relevant movies taking a back seat to the latest Adam Sandler or Johnny Knoxville vehicle. Same goes with music - I cringe whenever I see some of the crap at the top of the charts. oh wel..

Tell me about it! In a world where Jessica Simpson is considered an actress, I shouldn't be surprised at any of this.
