Assorted Stuff

  • Therecord.com has a great article on Michael Baigent's new book: "The Dog Ate My Jesus Papers."
  • SNL had a hilarious TV Funhouse last night: A trip to the Disney Vault! Two kiddies discover Walt's frozen head, a HUAC report, and other nasties while looking for Beauty and the Beast 2: Electric Boogaloo (or something like that). Mickey tries to explain. ("The Vault" has to be the stupidest movie-marketing gimmick ever. Given the quality of recent Disney movies, I'd lock that sucker up tight and swallow the combination.)
  • Blast from the Fairly Recent Past: The video for "Don't Answer Me" by The Alan Parsons Project! My favourite when I was a kid.
  • And the "Quickest Marriage After a Spouse's Tragic Untimely Death" Award goes to Art Bell, the 60ish paranormal radio-show host who just married a 21-year-old Filipina hottie a whopping 2.5 months after his wife, Ramona, passed away.
