Wednesday night

A strange week: Demi swallowed a sewing needle and the dr.'s patiently waiting for her to "stooge" it out. Long story. Trying not to dwell on it.

Richard's been blogging away the last 3-4 days, so this is the closest I've gotten to the computer. Still working on some stuff to post: Christ is alive and well (somewhere in Italy) but he's not the top dog anymore, and a story about the real story behind The Night Listener (which opens this Friday, if I'm not mistaken).

We finally splurged on a sofa/bed. Nothing too fancy, but comfortable and a million times better than what we've got now. A nice neutral brownish colour that won't clash with anything. It'll be delivered just in time for Paul and his wife to crash on at the end of the month (I hope).

I don't FULLY understand this, but she was trying to poke a tiny hole in a popcan with the needle and the pop started spurting out, so she put her mouth over it and inhaled the needle. They removed it this morning by knocking her out and putting some kind of probe down her throat; they were close to preparing a bed for surgery whey they finally got it.
