Not much going on with me this week. Next week I have the annual general meeting at the theatre, and a day later the condo meeting, and the day after that, the season three premiere of Lost. (I've watched season one and will try to watch the rest of season two before then; the season one finale totally blew my mind). I haven't been so obsessed with a series since Oniisama E.
Found out I'll be operating the lights for A Child's Christmas in Wales, and early in October I'll get started on other volunteer opportunities, too.
I LOVE fall. The trees are gorgeous, the days are sunny but cool, and the leaves make such awesome skittering sounds on the sidewalks. My favorite season, and sadly the shortest. I think I'll haul out the Halloween decos tonight; I have an arty-looking fake jack-o-lantern I love to turn on at night.
About a week ago Richard bought one of those talking Halloween butlers for the kids. Looks like a cross between Lurch and Riffraff and says, "Good evening...so glad you could join us this evening...the master is waiting for you!", followed by half a minute of heavy breathing. ANNOYING. Now we have to haul this *@#&*@ thing in the car with us for five hours, which is still better than having it in the hallway where it startles the snot out of me at least twice a day.

It was actually HOT here today - like summery hot. I'm a fall person, too, though the colours out here are nowhere near the colours out east. Unfortunately, fall is short in the mountains, and winter will be here by the end of next month.
Enjoy it while you can!
Did you get rid of the butler yet?
If you miss him, I can always send you the "duck from hell". ;)
The butler sounds so cool! I need one for the front porch!
Mailing address, please, haha. ;D
I love fall too, and those fake butlers!!!!
Have a telephone answering message that your hubby would like. A fake A. Hitchock that would go well with the butler lol....
