So I have very little to post of a personal nature, being the boring person that I am. Especially in winter. If I could hibernate for a week or three, I would. Instead I read historical biographies, watch documentaries about freaky Asian cults, surf for more couscous and chickpea recipes, and generally bore people to sleep. Seriously. Use me instead of Ambien, I'm less addictive and you won't have to wait in line at the pharmacy while the 17 old women in line ahead of you ask bizarre questions about fiber supplements.
I just finished The End, the final Unfortunate Series of Events book, and was a bit disappointed to learn that most of the pressing mysteries in the series were just macguffins. So be warned, you'll never know what's up with that @#&*@ sugar bowl!
I'll post some interesting stuff once Richard goes back to work - on his days off, he's hard at work on his 9/11 sites and won't let me within 15 feet of the computer. Well, okay, he does, but I can't touch the keyboard.
For now I'll post about the kiddies. We saw Aaron a few days ago when we delivered the Butler from Hell, and he was hard at work (hahaha) on a teeny model of a battle between Napoleon's forces and some Prussians. Don't ask me which battle this is, I don't know. Aaron didn't either.
Demi was out of town with some friends, so we missed her entirely.
;(
However, she's doing very well in school...especially Drama. She has a 98.8 in that class and is the star pupil. This surprises no one.
Needless to say, Aaron had to set up the Butler from Hell in Demi's room in an attempt to scare her into a coma when she got home. I'm guessing this ended in some violence, but I don't know for sure.

Drama queen? Demi? Nah. ;)
I wonder if Aaron will "hurt" her foot again, when she kicks him?
BTW, that's probably the Battle of Waterloo.
Oh, okay, like the song. Cool.
Not boring. :)
A nice slice of life..thanks for sharing. Sounds kinna fun/cool...I miss my kids driving each other nuts.
Laughed about the old ladies with fiber questions - just wait, your day will come. As well as buffet lines, leaving your purse in chairs, thinking your dogs are your children and your whole world, etc....I'm saying this with a smile on my face, btw. (Cuz, sometimes fiber is my friend - but alway purchased surrepticiously, NEVER out in the open. I lurk at Walmart waiting for the aisle to clear - then make a mad dash, and then hide it under the other stuff.)
Oh, I already leave my purse in chairs, and dote on hamsters, and consider fiber my friend. I'll be in that pharmacy line soon enough! :D
Diana, SME has needed extra fiber since she was 8. Fortunately, she has always loved salads and veggies.
Don't tell her I told you, BUT....she's had a few gray hairs too. heehee
HEY! I SAW that!
They're white hairs!
