I'm adding these to my list. I need to get back on Net Flix and see if I can order them there. Our movie theatre has had two Christmas movies (I've never heard of) for viewing for about 3 weeks now.
Not sure I can handle Jonestown - I remember when that happened - I cried for several days not understanding how something like that could happen. Now I understand - politics and crazy "leader" and vulnerable folk....
Just saw the trailer about "Father" O'Grady - that one would push me over the edge toward wanting to murder -
People are baffled by O'Grady's agreement to appear in Deliver Us From Evil. Is he trying to absolve himself, is he nuts, what?
I'm a little wary of the Jonestown stuff, too... I'm hoping it's mostly about the life and not so much about the death. It's just as important for folks to see how cults start as to see how they end.
I heard mixed reviews for Fast Food Nation, but my dad read the book and liked it. I want to be blissfully unaware of what they do to my fast food before I eat it, especially since I don't have it that often.
I've read just enough to know that you REALLY don't want to know!
