Tastes like chicken. No, really!

Okay, they look like something you'd make with the Play-Doh Fun Factory, but they were actually quite delicious...When you cut into them, these fake chickens look, feel - and, more importantly, taste - like real poultry. They were awesome. Posted by Picasa

Did you cook it in your play-doh sizzling skillet? SORRY, couldn't resist!
How did you cook it?

Har har. ;P

The little buggers didn't come with any instructions, so I had to wing it (no pun). I just put 'em in the roasting pan and baked at low heat, checking on them every 20 minutes or so. (The cool thing is you can't possibly undercook them!)

You two are bad! Since I have very bad sense of perspective, I could actually convince myself that those were crackers...honest..think about it. They could be chicken versions of those goldfish cracker thingies...

What did Alan think of it?

Yum. White meat taste and texture only however. I'm not sure they have the technology to make these in a turkey dark meat flavour yet (my favorite).

Hi Alan, nice meeting you! I spose you already figured out that I'm SME's Mom?
I'm hoping that we'll get to meet you next time we're up there!

That's true, no dark meat. And they did look like crackers - almost too cute to eat. ;D
