Winter Blechs

Well, I don't know quite what happened, but Caspar died sometime this morning. I'm guessing a heart attack, since he wasn't sick in any way. Richard found him in his nest a few minutes ago. For now we'll just wait until Butters passes on before we get another pet.

Two hamster funerals in a week, no sunshine, and an infection have conspired to give me the winter blechs. I won't be seeing anyone socially until mid-December, and technically that's not social because I'll just be operating the lights for a play. Unless the stage manager and sound guy are friendly, I won't be talking with anyone about anything other than tech matters. Light ops don't usually get invited to the bar after performances, either.
Maybe we can invite my friend Alan to share American Thanksgiving with us.

Also I think I left my mittens at the theatre when we went to see Borat.

SME I am so sorry to hear about him. Wasnt he the new one also? I never had a hamster but cats and dogs have always came in went in my life as you well know from all those years. Is it cold there yet? i hope not. its still in the lower forties here and then in the 30's with the wind chill. But take care and keep in touch.

Thanks, guys. I'm feeling better today. It was sunny all morning and most of the afternoon, so that was great.

The mittens I lost were actually a pair of Richard's that I'd been wearing for the last two winters, and I couldn't find another one like them and had to settle for Thinsulate ones from Zellers. Hmmph.
