Richard has some time off ('til Christmas night), so this evening will be a movie night with some popcorn, and lots of soynog. We're watching Bad Santa, which neither one of us has seen. (It was on sale.) And maybe Jan Svankmajar's Little Otik, which I rented from the library. Or The Dark Crystal and/or Labryinth, which I broke down and bought today after many months of temptation. Yeah, I know them both by heart, but that doesn't mean I won't enjoy 'em. :D
I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays as much as humanly possible. I know it's a difficult time for many - but remember, the season can only give you what you bring to it. Maybe the best way to enjoy Christmas is to work at making it special for someone else.

I hope you like Bad Santa. I saw it last year and, although Billy Bob Thornton is icky, it's kinda funny.
Best of the season to you and yours, SME!
LOL WC! That's the same thing I told her.
We need to get new copies of those movies too. You wore ours out when you memorized all the lines. ;)
sme, I am watching movies, too. My hubbie is off today and we are going to snuggle up and watch Slither. I may have to put Labrynith on my Netflix queue, I haven't seen that movie in a while. The movie I want to see is the Transformer Movie on DVD. When I was a kid I thought that movie was da bomb. Let's see if my memory was correct.
Oh, sounds so nice - I think I will make a trip to our health food store - yay, I'm HOME for a while - and get some blue chips, salsa, and nog, peruse the family video library and curl up with everyone - delightful.
Have a wonderful holiday season.
WC and Mom, you were both right, "Bad Santa" had its moments. Billy Bob is pretty disgusting, tho. He plays a good drunk, but the dude needs to work out more or somethin' - I think he must be the only actor working today who has a concave chest! ;P
Angelique, I am SO glad I'm not the only person stuck in an '80s time warp once in a while! :D
Gardenia, sounds like you're really enjoying being home for Christmas! That's terrific. I hope you have the best holidays ever!!
I think we sat around watcing The Lion King and Men In Black,Appollo 13, and a few others. We have Labrinth for the girls. They just love all the fuzzy creatures on it. Maybe tonight I will pull that one down for them. Its been a while myself. Well hope its all going well.
