The presents Richard and I gave each other this year were on the strangish side, but much appreciated...

Richard to Me:

- 2007 "Nuns Having Fun" calendar
- William Sampson's Confessions of an Innocent Man
- very long, skinny box of chocolates that I thought was curtain rods
- Spike Lee's When the Levees Broke

Me to Richard:

- claymation short film The Junky's Christmas, based on a story by William Burroughs

Don't forget to write all the birthdays and anniversaries on your calendar! ;)

That's a great calendar! You'll have to share some of the examples of fun over the next 12 months...

I don't know why but I am strangely curious on what nuns do for fun. My only experience with nuns is that they use to glower at me during church because I was that bored kid usually rolling around on the floor. Whoa, I am feeling a rush of Catholic guilt all of a sudden...

SS, you're welcome! We LOVE the Christmas Story ornament too! ALL of us have one of those flashlights now. L and I each have one in our vehicles.
Heehee, next year SME WILL BE 30!!

Tweets, I don't have any pics of slumber parties. You girls wouldn't allow it at the time. Don't you regret that now?

I was hoping the calendar would have some boxing nuns, but apparently they're not really into that... ;D

Glad you liked the ornament! I didn't think Grandma and Grandpa would get it.

Yes to be honest. Oh well it happens. My mom had a few pix of my 11th b-day but I have no idea where they are in the boxes in the basement just right this minute. Maybe for next year I will keep it in minnd to look for the few I have.
