wednesday

Demi will be here sometime tomorrow with her uncle's dog, Bandit, in tow. She's a good dog, but her housetraining is a bit spotty (no pun), and the nearest patch of ground is down 10 floors and across the street. This should be interesting.

This being my first vegan New Year's, I realized I'll have to find substitutes for my usual goodies: baby shrimps and pickled herring. I don't think hummus and veggies will cut it - I'll have to get creative.

I've decided to tackle a couple of book series in the new year: Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and Stephen King's Dark Tower books.

Anxiously awaiting the return of Lost. Wednesdays just haven't been the same without it, even though this is the first season I've watched on TV. Richard is about halfway through the first season on DVD. I've started my fansite; just finishing the episode guide. I'll post a link when it's complete.

You know Sme sometimes they are little angels at someone elses house but I guess we will just have to wait and see. Have fun with her. J is taking tomrrow off because he forgot he had almost two weeks of vacation time and that doenst roll over into the new year so he can only take the one day for this year but we have it split up nicely this year of 07. We are going home in March and then I would like go spend a few days again when you and R are in the falls in either July or August. I am in no hurry for a date. But at least two weeks or so before going please where J can take the time off. I dont like driving that far by myself with the girls. Well anyway enjoy the new year and we will see you sooner than expected really. time has flown by so far. later old friend. N.

'06 did indeed go fast! We have a lot planned for this year. No solid date for our trip to the Falls and Ontario yet, but we know now it will be in July, and I'm sure we'll have a date before spring. It'll be great to see the two of you and the girls.
Sometime after Christmas next year we'll be going to Taiwan to see Paul and Juliet.
I hope you have a good trip in March. My folks are looking forward to seeing you. It sometime sucks living this far from everyone, but I love Canada and this city. It's home.

I hear you about Wednesday nights. I'm totally missing Lost, too. I'm glad Prison Break is only off until Jan.22, but Feb. is a long time to wait for a show like Lost, but at least we'll get 16 straight episodes without interruption (at least that's what I heard). Looking forward to the Lost site, too.

Hope all goes well with Bandit - I cringe at the spotty training. We're waiting for "Lost" also. :-)

Thanks Sme. I am looking forward to seeing your parents too when we go. Like I said just when you set the date let us know. J has today off but had to do a few things for work. They are making them do drug tests and road tests. The DMV is really cracking down on them now. I dotn watch Lost anymore but we are patiently waiting for American Idol to come back on to watch all the wanna be's sing. LOL....

If anybody can housebreak a dog, it's YOU! Just give him that shriek that you used to give Boo. ;)

I love watching the Idol auditions, painful as some of them are! ;D

I think we'll be making VERY frequent trips across the street this weekend. Thank God we have cement floors and cheap rugs.

Love all the times I've spent in the Vampire books by Ann Rice - dark exotic places -

my TV is still broke most of the time - will have to count on your run downs of the sitcom.......

I'm looking forward to the vampire books. I've put off reading them for years, but winter in Canada is the ideal time to tackle long reads...If I get through the two series, I'll finally read Gravity's Rainbow, too.
