How Lord of the Rings should have ended

I love The Hobbit, but I don't like LOTR. It's just too freakin' long, and I think that the hereditary good/evil dispositions of the characters' species in this and other fantasy ficton/film are subtly racist. But that's a whole different post.

That was pretty frickin' funny! I just emailed it to my brother, who like me, is a huge LOTR fan. The video had an element of truth about it. I never thought of those eagles coming to the rescue, but it makes sense now. Ah well; it IS about the journey after all.

That was cute. But have to agree with WC here we are huge LOTR fans. We have all three movies here. I think its interesting if nohting else how they had to test the people and see who would take the ring from Frodo and who wouldnt do it. Well the nice thing in the end is they did what was best. They won the war with Sormon and got the King back in his rightful place anyway. Yes also about the jouney.

There are some things I like about LOTR; Gandalf, and the scenery, and the hobbits. The elves were just annoying, though.
