The end of another quiet Sunday. I'm watching Prime Suspect and Sophie is having her nightly salad. I usually give Sophie her greens a bedtime, so she isn't grumpy about having to go back into her cage for the night, but as you can see from the pic she spent much of the evening parked near her dish looking forlorn. She has an Eyore look about her at times. I could almost see the thought bubble over her head: "Empty. Empty. Empty." So, I gave in.
Butters is doing astonishingly well. She doesn't seem to realize she's old and frail; she behaves like a little whippersnapper. She's able to jump on and off her igloo again, run in her ball, and even attempt leaping off the chair.
I skipped the Oscars tonight. Last year I was excited about them because there were so many quality contenders - this year they're mostly just so-so. I'd like to see Pan's Labryinth and Deliver Us from Evil do well, though, and The Departed looks good (I love Casino and Goodfellas, the ultimate rags-to-riches-to-rags ganster movies). Haven't seen it yet. We went to Breach last week; I'll post a review soon, along with my review of the documentary Jesus Camp.

I haven't yet been able to see Pan's but it's still playing - maybe I can sneak away this week sometimes - today is full to "to-do's." I didn't watch the oscar's either - I usually like to see how people look....as for the rest, I think it's political as well
I didnt bother with them at all. The contractor is here today fixing what he can without falling off our roof to put the new hole in for the bathroom vent pipe. We might have to wait on that one for a few days. Well anyway enough of that talk.
I am glad to hear that Butters is feeling better. It must be rough watching them go from being babies to old little woman and men.LOL..
I have to say I liked the pix of Butters and Sophie together really. I still say it looked like Butters was pulling on Sophies ear. She might have been I dont know. but they are adorable. Well I suppose. Not much going on today with the contractor here but enough to keep me busy for a while. LOL... Hope all is well and I will catch you later. Tweets.

Knowing Butters, she probably WAS about to chomp on Sophie's ear. She's aggressive for such a little squirt. When she's in her plastic ball, running around, she'll aim straight for Sophie and barrel into her full-tilt just to get a rise out of her. ;D
Gardenia, if you can get a chance to see Pan on the big screen, take it! It's gorey in parts, but visually stunning.
I didn't watch a single minute of the Oscars, but I so glad Forest Whitaker got best actor: If he didn't deserve, no one did! Same for Helen Mirren.
She does look like Eyore. Awww. You can tell she's starved for attention... ;)
If you liked Goodfellas (Casino I wasn't too thrilled about) then you'll love the Departed. I think it's even better than Goodfellas in many regards.
She hops into her cage to get AWAY from attention, like "@#%&* humans, why can't they @#%*@ off?!"
