Happy Groundhog Day!

Of course, if you're not into oracular rodents you can celebrate something else. But good luck with that - I checked Wikipedia, and it seems like nothing else of any significance has ever occurred on February 2 (unless you count Farrah Fawcett's birthday, and I don't).

Groundhog Day is STUPID!!
We will always have 6 more weeks of winter following Feb 2. Waking up a hibernating rodent won't change that fact!

Yeah, but it's the only international holiday that involves rodents! That oughta count for something. :)

P.S. Now you have to start celebrating Farrah Fawcett's birthday! ;P

I did not realise it was groundhog day yesterday, we don't have that in England... It was a gorgeous day here in London, I was out with my colleague, we walked by the Thames river to lunch basking in the sun and the unusually warm 13 degrees. I guess the groundhog did wake up in England!

PS: it's weird that you even know when Sarah Fawcett birthday is - lol

Hmm, I'd much prefer an afternoon by the Thames to slogging through Canada's mucky February slush! *turning green with envy*
