There's a lot of bad stuff in the news this week, as usual. I'm not going to dwell on any of it right now, because there's always some sun behind the clouds. Tomorrow, for instance, is my parents' 30th anniversary! You can see a *lovely* '70s photo of the newlyweds at my mom's blog. ;D
I am horribly behind on Lost. I've been recording episodes to watch later, and I now have 5 of 'em piled onto the hard drive. I'll have to get cracking (er, watching) when Richard goes back to work this weekend. I accidentally caught a few seconds of it tonight and was like, "Wha..?Bakunin isn't dead?!"
Did anyone see CSI last week, the one with the lizard-people? I'm going to post the true story behind that on High Strangeness this week.
News of note:
Tammy Faye is close to the end.

Thirty years is a long time to be with some one and I am glad to hear your parents have made it work for them. I havent watched CSI or Lost in so long I dont know whats going on with either. Have fun watching Lost on the comeputer.
Well, I won't spoil anything on Lost for you, but it's getting interesting. The last episode is the 23rd, I believe. And did you hear that they're going to end it in three seasons, each consisting of 16 episodes that will be aired UNINTERRUPTED? I did see CSI last week and it was a pretty good episode. There was a reference to Robert Pickton, which I'd been waiting for for a while. Tonight's episode looks good, too.
Buddha will be devastated!!
Heehee, it doesn't feel like 30 years until I look at that picture and wonder who the hell those "kids" are!
WC, NOW do you believe me about Sarah and Grissom? ;)
I did hear about the uninterrupted Losts. Groovy. I forgot about the Pickton thing on last week's CSI...I was referring to the lizard-people and the murdered wife. Totally true story from beginning to end, except without the pigs.
I'll definitely watch CSI tonight. I've missed a LOT this season. I didn't believe the Sarah/Grissom thing until last week.
Mom, I was gonna post a picture of the shirt you got married in...but I'll spare you. ;D
Do you still have that thing?!
Ahhh, every mother's dream....their daughter is wearing their wedding shirt. ;)
Of course I still have it! I don't wear it often, but I'll never get rid of it. It's one of those tacky sentimental things that you must keep forever!
Tshsmom: Yeah, I believe you. I actually saw a repeat of last season's finale when they were in the hotel room at the very end. Can't wait for the finale next week!!
WC, I'll be devastated if Grissom is the miniature killer!
