Here are some pics from our family vacation. We drove across the Canadian prairies, then went through Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana (briefly), Southern Ontario, and Minnesota, with stops in Chicago (to check out the Sears Tower and the Henry Darger paintings at the Carl Hammer Gallery) and Toronto (to visit Richard's twin nieces).
90+ hours in the car with two teenagers caused tempers to flare more than once; I blew up at Richard between Chicago and Wisconsin, tossed a contested bag of trail mix out the car window somewhere near Rainferly, and told everybody to JUST SHUT THE @#$%* UP at least twice in the prairies. Other than that, the trip was a great success...we'll all have some fantastic memories to cherish.

Thanks to everybody for putting up with us!

I bet the gophers appreciated the trail mix.

I was ready for Richard to give me hell about it, too, but there was only less than a quarter of a bag left - and the fight over it was getting on his nerves, too. ;D
