Happy Day

Steven Truscott has been cleared, after all these years! Good for him. He's had a hard fight, and won. The only thing that would make me happier is finding the real killer.

The most amazing part of the story for me? An Attorney General that apologizes for his mistakes and takes responsibility for the Justice Department. {sigh}

I know! That's the most shocking part of all!
But, he knew he had to swallow some pride and do it. Canada has had a major problem with false convictions, and this was one of the most egregious examples. The prosecutors ignored testimony from reliable witnesses that Truscott was alone when Lynn Harper disappeared, going after him because they had to get somebody, and he was the last person seen with her.
