FYI, to dispell your irresponsible and frankly dangerous claims on the topic of apartame's toxic effects:

http://www.icnr.com/nutrasw.html

WARNING! NutraSweet Is A Neurotoxin

Appeared in May, 1992 Flying Safety
Magazine

In pregnancy the effects of Aspartame can be passed directly on to the fetus even in very small doses. Some people have suffered Aspartame related disorders with doses as small as that carried in a single stick of chewing gum. This could mean a pilot who drinks diet sodas is more susceptible to flicker vertigo or to flicker-induced epileptic activity. It also means that all pilots are potential victims of sudden memory loss, dizziness during instrument flight and gradual loss of vision."

A pilot's hot-line was set up and over 500 pilots responded, some speaking of grand mal seizures in the cockpit of commercial airline flights. Many pilots lost their medical certifications to fly and careers. Eighty percent of the complaints to the F & DA on food or additives are about this murderous chemical, but comatose they've done nothing to alert or protect you. Don't be surprised, the F & DA regularly approves killer drugs as OMNI MAGAZINE reported in February, 1994.

"Fifty-one percent of F & DA approved drugs have serious post-approval risks and could cause adverse reactions that lead to severe or permanent disability or Death."

The Center forDisease Control, John Hopkins University and the New Jersey School of Medicine estimate that 80 - 120,000 Americans are killed by prescription drugs every year. That's more than all the Americans killed in all the wars of this nation's history. That this atrocious holocaust persists has everthing to do with money and nothing to do with public health. Monsanto reaps $1 billion/year from the Aspartame toxic bonanza. This can buy a lot of bureaucrats! Does FDA mean Fatal Drugs Allowed? And by the way, your life doesn't really count!

Aspartame is a molecule composed of three components: aspartic acid, phenylalanine and methanol
(wood alcohol). Once ingested, the methanol that has killed or blinded thousands of skid row drunks, converts into formaldehyde and formic acid (ant sting poison). Formaldehyde, a deadly neurotoxin, is common embalming fluid, a class A Carcinogen! There are 90 documented symptoms including:

Headaches, Muscle spasms, Irritability, Heart palpatations, Loss of taste, Joint pain, Dizziness, Weight gain, Tachycardia (heart racing), Breathing difficulty, Tinnitus (ringing in the ears), Blurred vision, Seizures, Rashes, Insomnia, Anxiety attacks, Vertigo, Hearing loss, Nausea, Depression, Blindness, Slurred speech, memory loss, Fatigue, Numbness.

Alex, for a guy that doesn't allow comments on his blog, you sure do a lot of spewing here!

Pay attention! SME never mentioned your name in relation to aspertame. She referred to Webre's notion that aspertame and chemtrails are a gov't plot to make us more suggestible.

Ok now, where was I?
Oh yeah. How can Sophie look so evil one day, and be so cuddly the next?

For the last time, I didn't say a thing about aspartame toxicity. There were no "irresponsible and frankly dangerous claims" made here. I said it wasn't designed expressly to increase suggestibility, as per Alfred Webre's theory.

You don't like aspartame. I get it.

I don't like eggs, dairy, and meat. But even if you did allow comments on your material, Mr. Constantine, I wouldn't bombard you with stuff about BSE, corporate farming atrocities, and the nasty chemicals found in your milk. Why? Because people like their meat and their cheese and their ice cream, and they're not going to give it up.

With all the folks who smoke, suntan, and drive while on the phone...do you really think people are sensible about their dietary choices?

You can say "Hey, this'll kill ya," 1000 times an hour, and they're still gonna devour it.

RE Sophie: I didn't post the video where she judo-kicked Richard in the face...
;D

Sophie is very cute...

SME: Exactly. I mean, alcohol, smoking, drugs, pharmaceuticals that give you side effects worse than what they're curing, sun tanning, Jackass-wannabes... people do things that are bad for them... NEWSFLASH -- get over it.

And seriously... what sort of ass muppet has so much to say but doesn't allow comments on his own blog? What, are you afraid of differing opinions? Or maybe you don't want to read through the erroneous stuff that people post on unrelated topics? You're quickly becoming what is known in the blog-biz as a troll, taking over a post about a cute bunny and you don't even listen when SME says she didn't ever say anything about that specific topic...

Oooo a judo kick to the face? Now that would be funny. Well, not if you're Richard.

Why won't my cats sit that still when I try to pet them? That's it, they're getting exchanged for a rabbit.

Laura, I still say that SME should let us call in an exorcist! ;)

S.M. Elliott said...

Laura - Call me apathetic, but I really don't care about changing people's bad habits. That's their job.

Karen - Sometimes she likes the cuddling, sometimes she's playing possum with Richard just long enough to lull him into a false sense of security. Then she springs up, runs away, and stomps her feet at him. Or kicks him. ;D

Mom - An exorcist for the bunny, or the troll? Either way, perhaps not a bad idea...

SME: But however will you get into heaven if you don't force your beliefs down others' throats? I thought that was the way to the light? :p

Eh. I don't have the "save the world" complex.
