So what have I been up to, since I'm clearly not blogging much this week?
Well, truthfully, not much. Mostly tackling the books on my Fall Reading Challenge list (currently 2012 and The Cave). Last night we went to a screening of two documentaries on depleted uranium and the hazards of nuclear power; horrifying images of some of the birth defects that have been appearing in southern Iraq since Gulf War I, the effects of open-pit uranium mining, and nuclear accidents.
A nuclear-power plant has been proposed in this area, and if that plan starts to take shape I'll fight it big-time. No three-eyed fishes for me, thanks.

Richard got my scanner working again! It's been out of commission for months. So, to celebrate, here's some completely pointless stuff from my sketchbook...
