8 Fairy Cave, Taiwan

This is a Buddhist shrine located in a natural cave.








Dog snoozing at the base of the main altar.





Shrine to Guan Ying, bodhisattva of compassion and peace, with offerings of fruit.

That reminds me; I have to get the picture of the dog at the altar printed out for Grandma and Grandpa.

That dog reminds me sooo much of Shadow! Especially when she used to curl up on their steps in the snow before they started letting her in the house.

Very cool. I love natural caves, and was just researching caves in Ancient Greece and the Pagan rituals associated with them.
