I know a lot of false facts about Camel Spiders got spread after the Persian Gulf War: They run screaming at 25mph, they get the size of dinner plates, etc. But Dan maintains that the creepy little suckers do jump high, and even at 10mph, they're awfully fast.
I'd play hooky from Hogwarts on the day of that lesson.
Even if they didn't jump at all and crawled like snails, I'd still find 'em creepy. Blech.
