And People Wonder Why I Hate Politics

Lest you think I've been picking on Lesley Hughes, I'll just mention that I'm also appalled by the statements of this crazy b****. In Ms. Bachmann's parallel universe, white people never default on their mortgages nor fail to repay their debts. Like Hughes, she seems genuinely baffled as to why anyone would ever consider her a bigot. Wow.

She also thinks Intelligent Design (read: Creationism with a makeover) should be taught in schools, is calling for natural-gas drilling throughout the U.S., and dismisses virtually all global warming concerns as fanaticism.

Oh, and the Green Party's Presidential nominee, Cynthia McKinney, might have been punk'd into believing that 5000 prisoners were executed and secretly buried after Hurricane Katrina. I suspect that her source is a Florida woman who gives psychic readings (but didn't see Hurricane Andrew coming), went jogging with an alien who had six fingers and very muscular thighs, and announces after every hurricane that the official death toll is a New World Order lie.

Between Alex Jones and politicians like this, my faith in humanity is just about nil right now.

The only conspiracy theory I believe is that one I made up in which governments invent conspiracy theories to take attention away from the sinister and evil things they do in plain sight.

Damn! I was feeling pretty proud of Bachman until I read that article. :(

She's Jim and Dawn's Rep.

I can think of another B**** - not familiar with any of the ones mentioned. Anyway, I try to follow the big picture - the US election, the world economy but only worry to make sure my baby is born into a care-free home. See how it goes...
