I never, EVER thought I would be saying this, but...

Ralph Nader is a douche.

He has gone completely 'round the bend. Call it senility, call it sour grapes, call it foot-in-mouth syndrome, call it whatever you want.

Ralph Nader is a douche.

How could I say such a thing? Why am I calling a tireless consumer advocate and environmental crusader a douche? Watch and learn...

In this clip, Nader implies that John McCain supports the friendly fire theory of the USS Liberty incident not because he believes it, but because he's being bullied by Jews.

In this clip, Nader resorts to racial slurs immediately after Obama's victory.

Nice, Mr. Nader. Now I finally understand why the Green Party would rather have a conspiracy-theorizing, security-assaulting whackadoo like Cynthia McKinney representing them in the presidential race than nominate you again. To think I defended you against accusations that you're just a vote-splitting bastard! You're a bigger disappoinment to me than Ben Stein. Please go away.

Yes, he is.

Wow... well, leave it to Fox news to bring that up, but yes, I have to agree. There were plenty of other phrases and word choices he could have used to get his point across. I'm tired of Nader. While I agree with some of his ideas, I also think he would make a terrible president. He is unable to compromise - and a president has to represent all americans, not just those that voted for him.

I kinda gave Nader the benefit of the doubt, figuring he could possibly be an OK prez, even without much experience. Now? No way. If he's too embittered to even bother with tact anymore, how would he possibly handle the delicate international diplomacy we need right now? How could he adequately represent minorities? How could he even FUNCTION politically? He needs to retire. From everything.

I'll play Devil's Advocate here: Other than the Uncle Tom part, I've been saying the same thing Ralphie said for years. That is EXACTLY why we don't have universal healthcare; the politicians are bought off by the insurance companies!

I do agree that Ralphie doesn't have the tact required of a president. Compromise isn't in his vocabulary. :(

Well I have to disagree with your analysis of the first video. He did not have a "blame it on the jews" moment. He specifically called out AIPAC which is a lobbying organization that is made up of jews and non-jews alike. And which, like many lobbying organizations, operates contrary to the needs, rights, and benefit of the average American citizen. Which I think was Nader's point. Cause, you know, we have a representational government and McCain is suppose to represent Us. The Peoples.

I suppose you could very well accuse him of lacking tact. That's a fair criticism. I do think Nader would make a better president than Obama, McCain, or any of the presidents we've had over the past...oh.. hundred odd years and I did actually vote for the man this time around.

What one must understand is that anyone operating outside of the two party system is marginalized by those who are in power as much as possible for legitimate and illegitimate reasons alike. I do believe that constant defaming of your life's work, work that you know is right and contrary to the accepted norms, would tend to drive any man a little bit insane. I don't mean that as an insult, but just trying to maybe explain a reasoning behind Nader's frustrations.

Well, yeah, he's right about healthcare. He's right about a lot of things. That's why it's actually a shame that he's a big douche! I think 99% of politicians are douches, but I rarely blog about that because it doesn't surprise me at all.

My reading of his views on the Liberty are mine alone. I don't know of anyone else who has criticized him for this. Only one commenter on the video agreed he was blaming the pro-Israel lobby for McCain's behavior, and that guy was like, "And of course we should blame ZOG!" My thoughts on it are this: While Nader's view of the McCain/Liberty "issue" are not overtly anti-Semitic, his willingness to blame McCain's personal decisions on pro-Irael partisans disturbs me, because we're seeing some anti-Semitism in politics right now (particularly in Canda, where Nader is extremely popular). Also, the Liberty incident has not been resolved in some people's minds, but officially it is. Ten U.S. investigations concluded it was an accident, a mistake, friendly fire. Being pro- or anti- false flag theory shouldn't even be a political issue at this point.
Even if McCain doesn't buy into the official explanation and was being deceptive when he wrote the promotional blurb for The Liberty Incident, it seems to me he might have been defending his father's memory rather than being in thrall to the "AIPAC pro-Israel lobby" as Nader implies. I find the insinuation that McCain was somehow bullied by pro-Israel people into supporting a theory he knows to be false offensive and unwarranted. Politicians write blurbs of their own free will, and if they don't want to promote a particular book that someone has asked them to endorse, they simply decline.

I can understand Nader's frustrations to an extent, but plenty of third party candidates have been and are in his position, as Scott points out. And they've come through it quite a bit more gracefully. He has shown me he is currently unfit to lead.

Coloured Gun toting Rednecks not unlike their Creamy counterparts Buy up big In Unclesamland

So the Zombieslayer voted republican after all, following the lead from dirtcrasher, Neal and other gun loving ghouls, who reside in the land of the - 'free to kill anyone who opposes you'.
I thought it was too good to be true, meaning the 'Welcome back Vest' sign which greeted my first visit for weeks to his 'My shite doesn't smell blog 'Zombieslayer', Where he categorizes all adversaries as zombies earmarked for annihilation. This train-set loving would be Stalin or Shicklegruber has deemed; even my meant to be humorous comment on his latest post; inappropriate, one in which he advises his regular fat lady bloggers how to remove the pork from their stalk, he being fearful that I would usurp his attempts to become yet another fly by night phoney dietitian.
Zoms Republican vote came in the wake of info leaked from the Obama camp, its intent on imposing harsh restrictions on gun sales, which has resulted in a sales hike of 15% to 1.18 million in October in the USA. One whingeing gun shop owner stated "The second amendment says legally by law we can have firearms.[Obama is]going to attempt to take that right away from us."
Being a Non Prophet person does not exclude me from agreeing with some eccleslastical wisdom, like that of turning ones swords into ploughshares.
I am also deeply concerned that, Mr Obama being a black fellow may have less chance of surviving his period of office than the Catholic Kennedy's. My advice would be, Mr Obama should invest in a 'Pope mobile'.

And speaking of douches...

Vest said...

Sme. Not too sure about you cold clime dwellers, but I shower at least once a day and have no need to douche. Only ladies with smeLLY cavities would need this cleansing process.
A bottle brush could be used to remove stubborn deposits.
Have a lovely day.X.

Not sure that douche is even sold anymore. It's worthless and nasty. Hence my use of the noun.

I must agree a douche is simply a cover up. A popular mens mag revealed that males preferred the Strawberry, Peach and Mint flavours, although there were some male and female hardliners who went for the traditional sardine flavour.

Have a wonderful day.
