Update to Yesterday's Post

More information on the Edmonton residential school survivor who named staff member Ann Knizky as the killer of a 9-year-old student named Victoria (Vicky) Spencer is here and at Hidden from History. The witnesses and Friends of the Disappeared will be asking police to open an investigation into Victoria's death. They are also asking the United Church, which ran the school, to reveal the current whereabouts of Ann Knizky if she is still alive.

Ah, I intentionally skipped this one to read the prior one. Well, if she's alive, I hope they get her.

Me too. Though I suspect she's probably dead already.

That is a lot of demands but I hope they get what they are looking for.. That is sad to know that they have lost a loved one because of something a school has done or not done. Yikes.. It makes me even more happy to know we home school when I hear stories like this one.

It is pretty frightening. I don't think this kind of thing happened in day schools - the residential schools were like boarding schools, only involuntary - but that such violence could take place in ANY school setting is very disturbing. I hope this woman's allegations are resolved soon; she has waited long enough.
