Bombers and Bald Bunnies

So Weibo Ludwig has been arrested for the pipeline bombing. The one the Edmonton Journal tried to pin on Al Qaeda and then on First Nations people. The one Glenn Beck attributed to the left-wing environmentalists he's been "warning" us about. The one conspiracy theorists have blamed on the oil companies; if they bomb their own pipelines, the theories go, taxpayers will have to foot the bill for increased security so that other people won't bomb the pipelines. Um, what?

Sophie's nesting again. Every time the temperature drops even slightly, she starts pulling out her fur and using it to line little burrows she creates with her towel. When I make her stop ('cause she'd be much colder if she was bald, and I'm tired of finding little piles of fluff everywhere), she gets huffy and sulks under her cage - easily the coldest place in the room. Go figure.

I wasn't terribly surprised when they arrested Weibo, but I just saw on the news moments ago that they have let him go without charges. Hmmmm...

A reporter on The National made a strange comment last night. She said there were rumours that Ludwig was arrested merely to draw the real bomber(s) out of hiding. Makes you wonder.

About four years ago I caught a stray tame rabbit in our garden, fearing for its safety we kept it in our garage for less than a week until the supposed owner turned up in response to our sign out the front. The legacy of its bumbles certainly helped the flowers and weeds to grow in our garden, but honestly the Whiff even after a disinfectant job and good scrub lingered on for quite some time, I mean rabbits are rabbits wherever they live, so how do you cope with this problem within your house, does it wear baby born size diapers (nappies)? Or is sophie in reality a fluffy mechanical toy?

An answer wouldn't go amiss.
