As for the picture - well, I just like it.
Say what you will about Coca-Cola, but (besides being yummy and refreshing) it has a cultural cache that no other soda will ever match. (Well, maybe Slurm...) The plots of a whole lotta groovy movies and short films center around Coke bottles, for instance:
- I can't remember why, but a Coke machine plays a big part in Dr. Strangelove.
- The Gods Must Be Crazy
- In one of the best animated sequences in Allegro Non Tropo, life evolves from the dregs of a Coke bottle.
- There's a cute stop-motion short about a soda can (I'm not positive it was a Coke can) that transforms itself into a little dancing guy by making cuts and folds in its aluminum.
