Curious about the Talking Princess Diana doll mentioned at museumofhoaxes.com, I discovered www.toypresidents.com. There really are Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton Action Figures! (see my post "Misfit Toys: A Study in Commercial Failure") But the Diana doll is far stranger. She says, "I don't sit here with resentment. I sit here with sadness...", and talks about her marriage. How depressing.
Stranger still (but far more entertaining) are the talking Vicky Pollard doll and the "beautiful" talking Napoleon Dynamite doll.
Toy Presidents also has a Dubya doll, for those of you who actually want to hear him speak.

We watched Grizzly Man on Discovery last night. What a looney!!
He did have great bear and fox footage though. He shoulda stuck with the foxes. ;)

I was hoping you'd catch that! I saw the end on Discovery the other day, tho it was slightly different than the theatrical version.
I thought the museum curator said it best, too. He summed up the whole problem with Treadwell in just a few words.
I'm wondering if the Discovery broadcast is the reason why it wasn't nominated for an Oscar? There are strict rules about that, for some reason.
