Tonight we're gonna eat some hot dogs (veggie sausage for me), watch some fireworks, and prob'ly get attacked by some mosquitoes. Then I'm gonna make Richard and Dem watch some Film Board of Canada toons.

How did Canada get it's name?
People decided they were gonna pull letters out of a bingo tumbler and that'd be the name they used. So they pulled out the letters and called them out, one by one...

We had CBC when I was a kid, so I grew up loving Canadian animation. Still do. I wasn't crazy about the Raccoons or anything, but Canada's short films rock.
So I was right. Mosquitoes are your national bird. ;)
Now isn't John K from Canada? He did do the Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksman episode, didn't he? Or was that after they fired him from his own show?
