Da Debul Made Him Do It

Comment added to a post about a guy who murdered his infant in a rage and is now blaming Satanism for his temper: "We'd be hearing about "false memories" again (based on fraudulent child psychology "experiments" of the sort fabricated by Elizabeth Loftus) from the CIA's cult apologists, eg. the FMSF or S.M. Elliott and his disinfo-blog, but this time the child didn't live, and the killer confessed."

Whatever. Frankly, the dude's "defense" is about as coherent as the Twinkie one.

I came to apologize for the gender confusion - mine. You are a femme, not a man, and I referred to her as "he" first time around. I apologize for the mistaken assumption.

An infant is dead, the father is a satanist. That's today's news. I can give you yesterday's news, too. It's posted at my site - a goat head mailed to an attorney. Pick most any day, and there will be an obscure news story about satanism that the "mainstream" press ignores.

Factual information on satanism - to counter the disinformation of S.M. Elliott - is posted here:

This amounts to 63 pages of hard research on satanism. Turn a deaf ear to the "False memory" advocates and cult apologists. Study the issue and decide for yourself.

I'm OK with the gender confusion...just not the implication that I might watch *shudder* FOX NEWS. (actually, it's not widely available in Canada)

I've never denied the existence of occult crime. It exists, it happens. But I do like to evaluate alleged occult-related crimes on a case-by-case basis, and make up my own mind on whether they're truly occultic or not. And I place occult crime in the wider context of religiously motivated crime, which is ridiculously common.
I believe SRA is a lot more rare than preachers like Bob Larson would have us believe; the only recent case I found convincing was the Pontchatoula, La., Hosanna Church case that will be going to trial soon.
I have no doubt that this guy really considers himself a Satanist...but Satanists still have to take responsibility for their own tempers.

Another article on satanism that's particularly nauseating. What's your wit of your staircase on this one?:

Judge: Satanism Can't Be Issue In Cannibal Trial

Lazaro 'Hannibal' Galindo On Trial For Killing Romantic Rival, Eating Organs

Local10.com, FL
August 13, 2007

MIAMI -- Lazaro Galindo, who is accused of killing a romantic rival and eating his organs, acted as his own attorney during jury selection in his trial Monday.

Galindo criticized the media and asked potential jurors to keep their minds open to unfamiliar religions.

"Let's say the Church of Satan, some people don't think it exists, it actually exists, it actually has members," Galindo told potential jurors. "But we don't worship Satan, pray to Satan, sacrifice kids to Satan," he said.

Galindo, whom prosecutors have referred to as "Hannibal," will be representing himself against charges that he killed 44-year old Argelio Gonzalez -- reportedly a rival for his girlfriend's affections -- then dismembered the body and ate some of the organs in July 2000, according to Local 10's Glenna Milberg.

The crime was uncovered when children playing in a Miami park discovered body parts in a garbage can.

Before the proceedings Monday, Galindo told the judge he is no longer a member of the Church of Satan, and that he "found God" while in jail.
"I've converted to God, I found God," he said.

Assistant state attorney Herb Walker said Galindo had told investigators he had an insatiable desire to eat human flesh. Walker said he prepared for the trial by researching the history and culture of the Church of Satan.

Walker asked potential jurors if they would be able to consider witness testimony as evidence in the potential absence of physical evidence. When some of the jurors said they might have a difficult time doing so, Walker instructed them on Florida law.

During Galindo's turn with the jury pool, he hinted at his defense: "How many of you have ever been forced to do something, or manipulated by a higher authority than you?” he asked them, Milberg reported.

Galindo's long, rambling turn at the podium prompted Judge Peter Adrien to interrupt him several times to clarify for the jury pool what information Galindo was trying to elicit from them.

I think I would side with the judge on this one. The CoS is an atheistic org that has nothing to do with sacrifice or cannibalism, tho they do revere murderers.

Should you get the idea that I am fixated on the goat people, you should know that the intellgence cults in general are a primary concern of mine, and you must have some staircase wisdom to share on the "Exculsive Brethren."

(A cult like this in the midwest killed a blogger recently - and

S.M. Elliott threw her support to the killers of that blogger, actually invented reasons why the cult is innocent - based on the writing of a Fox News propagandist & friend of Ann coulter - and the girl deserved to die. Shameful. I won't use many adjectives, but you are a true bottomfeeder.

This is how the intelligence cults handle politics it in Australia - just as they do here (remember "On the Path to 9/11?" ... right-wing cult production, according to the LA Times ... ):

Australia's Fascist 'Exclusive Brethren' Cult Charged with Fixing Elections

" ... Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese said the meeting was highly suspicious. 'Exclusive Brethren don't believe in voting but do believe in interfering in election campaigns, and they have a history not only of covert funding and also engaging in personal attacks and smears against non-extreme right-wing conservative candidates,' he said ... Brethren still a cult in Rudd's book
Phillip Coorey
August 23, 2007

KEVIN RUDD considers the Exclusive Brethren an "extremist cult" that breaks up families and is bad for Australia.

He has rejected its requests in the past for a meeting and said yesterday he had no intention of changing that policy.

John Howard considers the secretive religious sect a "legal legitimate organisation" and said there was nothing untoward about meeting them.

Peter Costello, who has also met the Brethren on occasions, agrees. "This is no crime. In fact the crime would be if a Member of Parliament refused to meet someone on the basis of their religious convictions."

Labor and the Government had daggers drawn over the Exclusive Brethren yesterday after it emerged Mr Howard met a delegation of its leaders in his Parliament House office two weeks ago.

The Brethren bans its members from voting, forbids its women from going to university and does not allow the use of computers.

It contributed $370,000 to help Mr Howard get re-elected in Bennelong at the 2004 election.

At the August 8 meeting was Mark McKenzie, a Sydney pump salesman, whose former company Willmac funded the pro-Howard advertising. This spending was referred by the Australian Electoral Commission to the Federal Police, which is still investigating.

Others present included the sect's "Elect Vessel", Bruce Hales, his brother Stephen and elder Warwick John.

Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese said the meeting was highly suspicious. "Exclusive Brethren don't believe in voting but do believe in interfering in election campaigns, and they have a history not only of covert funding and also engaging in personal attacks and smears against non-extreme right-wing conservative candidates," he said.

"Increasingly, [we see] a desperate Prime Minister who is prepared to associate even with sect organisations like Exclusive Brethren in order to hold onto his seat."

Mr Howard said funding was a matter between the Liberal Party and the Brethren but there was nothing wrong with him meeting them.

Howard defends meeting the Exclusive Brethren
22 August, 2007
Reporter: Peta Donald

... PETER COSTELLO: There's nothing wrong with meeting the Exclusive Brethren. They're Australian citizens, just like anybody else. They seek meetings with their Members of Parliament from time to time. Over the years I've had many meetings with the Exclusive Brethren, just as I have with people from other churches.

This is no crime. In fact the crime would be if a Member of Parliament refused to meet somebody on the basis of their religious convictions.

PETA DONALD: But for the Greens Senator Bob Brown the Exclusive Bretheren are different to other religious groups.

BOB BROWN: This is a sect which forbids its kids from eating or drinking with other kids. This is a sect which forbids thousands of its youngsters, all of them, from going to university. It's a sect which does not allow women to be in the workplace if they're in a superior position to men. And in fact after marriage it doesn't allow women into the workplace at all.

It's a sect which doesn't allow its members to vote or to engage in military service.

PETA DONALD: It's also a sect whose members have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on attack campaigns against the Greens in state elections in Australia, and New Zealand. Its members have bankrolled pro-conservative ads in the US and Canada. Its leaders are based in the Prime Minister's Sydney electorate of Bennelong - where one member's former company spent $370,000 on pro-John Howard ads at the last election.

The leaders of Exclusive Brethren don't speak to the media. A spokesman says the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister came up at the last minute. He says the leaders offered prayers, and talked about the economy - but politics and campaigning at the next election wasn't discussed.

Bob Brown.

BOB BROWN: It converts from the prayers offered in the Prime Minister's office, into the advertisements in the newspapers in Bennelong, and elsewhere, favouring this Prime Minister over Labor and Greens contenders.

Fine, but let that be open.

PETA DONALD: The Federal Police are still investigating political donations and the Exclusive Brethren. It's never declared any political donations, saying they've been made the group's members, and not the organisation itself.

The Opposition leader Kevin Rudd has refused to meet the Brethren - and he's suspicious Mr Howard has.

KEVIN RUDD: I believe this is an extremist cult, and sect. I also believe that it breaks up families.

I think Mr Howard has a responsibility to level with the Australian public, how much money has the Exclusive Brethren given the Liberal Party, what was the content of his most recent meeting with the Elected Vessel, and what undertakings have been given.

Remember, the Exclusive Brethren are currently under investigation by the Australian Federal Police concerning previous election activities.

Mr Howard needs to be fair dinkum with the Australian community, rather than pretending this is just, quote, some other group. They are not. They split families, and I am deeply concerned about their impact on communities across Australia.

'Extremist cult' slammed

• We're praying for you, Brethren told Howard

Federal Labor leader Kevin Rudd has labelled the Exclusive Brethren an extremist cult and called on Prime Minister John Howard to reveal what was discussed when he met its senior members recently.

Mr Rudd said he had real concerns about the impact of the Brethren on Australian communities and, unlike Mr Howard, he refused to meet its members.

"I believe this is an extremist cult and sect," Mr Rudd told reporters in Adelaide today.

"I also believe that it breaks up families. I also believe that there are real problems with the provision of modern education to kids under their system where they, for example, are not given full range of access to information technology."

Mr Rudd's comment followed a report today that Mr Howard had met senior members of the sect, including a man under Australian Federal Police scrutiny for his spending on the Prime Minister's 2004 election campaign.

Mr Howard today said there was nothing wrong with him meeting members of community groups, including the Exclusive Brethren, but deflected questions about whether the sect was providing election funding for the Liberal Party.

Mr Rudd said Mr Howard should detail the content of his most recent meeting with the group.

"Mr Howard has a responsibility to level with the Australian public," he said.
"How much money has the Exclusive Brethren given the Liberal Party, what was the content of his most recent meeting with the ... so-called supreme leader of the Exclusive Brethren and what undertakings have been given?

"Remember, the Exclusive Brethren are currently under investigation of the Australian Federal Police concerning previous election activities.

"The Australian public deserves some answers on all of this. Mr Howard needs to be fair dinkum with the Australian community rather than pretending 'they are some other group'.

"They are not. They split families and I am deeply concerned about their impact on communities across Australia."

Ummm...take a breath Alex, you're starting to foam at the mouth.

SME has no time for religious cults of ANY denomination. She has written posts denouncing several of them. You'd know this IF you bothered to read before ranting.

Deep breaths Alex, deeeep breaths!
