The Song That Still Always Makes Me Cry

After a Janis Ian concert tonight, which was just awesome, Richard insisted on sticking around to get a book signed. So I had to tell her that a song she co-wrote makes me cry every time I hear it, and she said she'd tell that to Jon Vezner. Then she asked, "What's the other song that makes you cry?" and I realized I must have told her that "This Old Town" is one of two songs that always makes me cry. And I had to admit the other one was "Under Pressure". That could've been embarrassing, but she just hummed a little of it and said, "Well, I'm in good company."

Cool.

Under Pressure, as in Queen/Bowie? That makes you cry?

Yeah, the part at the end where Bowie sings "love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night" and "this is our last dance".
