Jimmy, Richard's younger brother, is very sick. He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma about 4 1/2 years ago, and is experiencing some problems related to calcium buildup in his body. His weight is down to 120 pounds. Fortunately, Richard's parents and sister live near enough to the hospital to be with him, and on Thursday he will be transported to Toronto to see his regular doctor - a very helpful and supportive woman - for a consultation.
